Our practice schedule is Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 – 6:45 pm. It takes a few minutes to walk from the parking lot to the fields so please have the boys there a few minutes early so that everyone can be on the pitch and ready to go at 5:30.

Each player should bring the following items to practice:

• soccer ball
• cleats
• shin guards
• water or other fluids
• training shirt

While it is doubtful that our schedule will change after this month it is possible. Once I have official word from TU about September on I’ll post the info.

It’s soccer season!

This week has been team camp and so far we have managed to have all practices. After tomorrow night’s training session the boys have time off until next week when we will have two days of practice in preparation for the weekend’s RBC Fall Classic tournament in Chapel Hill.

The Spring practice schedule has been announced and here’s the information.

The practice location has changed. All practices will be held at the Triangle Church fields. These fields are located behind Triangle Church at 5510 Barbee Chapel Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. Click here for a link to Google maps: link-o-rama

To get to the fields, enter the church parking lot and head to the back end of the lot. You cannot drive all the way out to the field, but it’s not a long walk from the parking lot. Park as near to the back of the lots as you can. The fields are past the picnic area and baseball field and down the hill. Please factor this into your arrival time so that the kids can be at the fields on time.

The practice schedule is:

• Tuesday 2/23 – 5:00 – 6:15 pm
• Saturday 2/27 – 2:30 – 4:00 pm

From March 1 on we will be practicing on Monday and Wednesdays at Triangle Church from 5:00 – 6:15 pm. After daylight savings time the practice times will shift.

Saturday 11/14 @ 10:00 AM – McKee Park Field 2

Saturday 11/14 @ 1:30 PM – McKee Park Field 1

Sunday 11/15 @ 8:00 AM (ouch!) – McKee Park Field 2

Charlotte Cup Tournament schedules have been posted. The Corinthians games are as follows:

• Saturday, Nov. 14 at 10 am versus North Meck Soccer Club 98 White. McKee Road Park Field 1
• Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1:30 pm versus Speed 98 Hoffenheim. McKee Road Park Field 2
• Sunday, Nov. 15 at 8:00 am versus Hellenic Park 98 Fulham. McKee Road Park Field 1

Depending on the teams results in the above games they may or may not have a fourth game Sunday afternoon.

Triangle United U11 Corinthians

Corinthians defeated the Revolution 2-1 on Sunday.  This marks the first time the team have not tied.

The team rallied from a one goal deficit early in the second half to seal the win.

The kids played hard and the above photo shows the player wearing some Corinthians jerseys that were provided compliments of Marco Frenegal. Boys who were not present on Sunday will receive their jerseys on Monday.

Final Fall regular season game is Sunday at Holly Springs then the team will play in the Charlotte United Cup on November 14-15.

Have the players arrive 30 minutes early to warm up.

Also, the team will be playing in the Charlotte United Cup the weekend of November 14-15.

Teams are guaranteed to play at least 3 games – two on Saturday and at least one game on Sunday. If the team has a chance at a championship, they could play two games on Sunday.
